In November 2019, Social Foundation launched an extensive anti-pollution campaign in Delhi, supporting the Delhi Government’s Odd-Even vehicle policy aimed at reducing air pollution. This initiative demonstrated our commitment to public health and environmental protection during one of Delhi’s most challenging pollution periods.

Our comprehensive awareness campaign operated at multiple traffic signals across Delhi, where our volunteers educated citizens about pollution prevention measures and personal protection strategies. The program reached thousands of people directly, providing practical guidance on reducing individual pollution contributions.

A major component of this campaign involved distributing approximately 5,000 masks to protect people from harmful air quality. This immediate relief measure addressed urgent health needs while our awareness activities focused on long-term behavioral change and pollution prevention.

The campaign successfully combined government policy support with grassroots community engagement, demonstrating how NGOs can amplify official initiatives while providing direct community support.
