On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2021, Social Foundation organized an inspiring speech competition at Shaheed Mangal Pandey Government Girls Post Graduate College, Madhavpuram, Meerut. The competition focused on the theme “Self-reliance among women,” encouraging students to explore and articulate ideas about women’s economic and social independence.
A large number of girl students participated enthusiastically, presenting diverse perspectives on women’s self-reliance, economic empowerment, and social independence. The competition created a platform for young women to voice their opinions, share experiences, and inspire peers through their insights and vision.
Winners received certificates and prizes, recognizing their articulation skills and thoughtful contributions to discussions about women’s empowerment. The event served as both a celebration of International Women’s Day and an educational forum for exploring contemporary women’s issues.
This program reinforced our commitment to women’s education and empowerment while providing students with opportunities to develop public speaking skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in expressing their views on important social issues.
