When the COVID-19 pandemic reached India in early 2020, Social Foundation immediately responded by launching a comprehensive awareness campaign to support government health guidelines and lockdown measures. Beginning in March 2020, our campaign played a crucial role in educating communities about the pandemic and safety measures.
During the Janta Curfew on March 22, 2020, and subsequent national lockdown, Social Foundation demonstrated responsible citizenship by supporting government initiatives while maintaining our social obligations. We adapted our traditional community engagement methods to digital and remote awareness strategies.
Our campaign utilized social media platforms, posters, banners, and slogans to disseminate crucial health information and government guidelines. This multi-channel approach ensured maximum reach across different demographics and literacy levels, making essential health information accessible to diverse communities.
The campaign addressed critical needs during the early pandemic period: accurate information dissemination, combating misinformation, and supporting public compliance with health measures. Our efforts contributed to community resilience during one of India’s most challenging public health crises.
